In the context of Kenyan education, both CBC and CBE refer to the same system, which is the Competency-Based Curriculum or Competency-Based Education. The terms are often used interchangeably, but CBE is the more recent and broader term used by the Kenyan Ministry of Education.
The government has shifted from referring to the system as CBC to CBE to simplify learning pathways and make education more affordable, accessible, and practical.
At Nyarsango Schulprojekt, we provide educational sponsorships, mentorship, and holistic wellbeing support for less privileged children and youth. Our programs are designed to break the cycle of poverty and open doors to a brighter future for every child.
